I have been going to pain speciality for a while now. Dr. Gno is very professional and well knowledge in his job he's been doing on me. I would recommend him to anyone and have even told my pcp about him and how good he is. He will be sending patients there also. The front staff is very accommodating, the nurses are awesome. Ala in all I would recommend Pain Speciality to anyone!

I am a 88 year old disabled Vietnam veteran. I mention this in no way to appear important. However, what motivates me to express my history is the need to let others who live lives in extreme and unrelieved pain know that Dr. Ahn Ngo can successfuly make their lives pain free again. My wish is for as many suffering gain treatment without fear in this clinic.

Josh was very informative about helping find a way to manage my pain. He suggested different kinds of options that might fit my needs for pain management. He also listened to our concerns and really went through a lot of options. Plus he said he would bring all of our concerns up to the Dr level to help find something to help my pain levels so I can be more mobile as being a double amputee and pretty much bed bound right now because of pain. I was diagnosed with nerve and muscle damage 3 years ago. Manly seeing specialist in MA, was told I had 3 bulging disks in my lumbar spine, at that point I have severe neuropathy in both my feet, couldn’t walk with out assistance, had to take leave from my job in the healthcare profession, my PCP referred me to Dr. Kno first visit was wonderful , we came up with a game plan to help fix the damage that I had. The plan got put off after I was diagnosed with blood clots and I had to be on blood thinners for 3 months before the plan could continue.
Dr. kno told me the best course of action was a lumbar spine ablation at L 3,4,5. I was able to start the process with a set of nerve blocks 2 on the left, 2 on the right. I had great relief from the injections.
Then today was my day to get the nerve Ablation. I was nervous but very hopeful that it would work.
Dr Kno talked me through everything and when it was time to burn the nerves. I could literally feel the pain melt away. I left the office with no pain first time in 3 years. It’s now 8 hrs later and still no pain, some soreness which was to be expected but no spinal nerve pain. I feel so happy and positive that for once in 3 years I will have my life back. That’s all I wanted I wanted my life back with no pain and Dr. Kno did that for me.
I work in healthcare as a medical assistant so severe back pain is not an option, but now I feel free from the pain , I feel like I can live my life again.
Dr Kno and staff you have changed my life for the better. I am soooo greatful for your kindness and support during all of this you listen to my end game goal and you helped me reach it. I am forever grateful ❤️❤️

Dr. Ngo is the best.
I have said this before but without him and everyone at Pain Specialty I literally could not walk more than a block without serious pain.
They have given me the gift of a much fuller life.
Because of them I have been able to return to tinkering in theatre, my greatest LOVE.
I cannot thank them enough.

I found the office to be very clean. The staff very happy and willing to answer any question. Dr. Ngo was very nice, thorough and knowledgeable of my chief complaints and conditions. He was a really good listener too. Once he knew I wanted to become a patient he was very proactive regarding tests that needed to be done and needed me to be seen within the next 7 days and can you believe it…I actually have an appointment next Monday (today is the Tuesday before). By the time I got home my prescription was already at the pharmacy and this was in the middle of the day. I never had this at my former pain care facility. I can already tell just in one visit that I am going to be taken very good care of here

My 87 year history began with war time military experience demanding full and complete exertion of every physical capability I possessed to complete my mission. You gave it or others would pay the price. In all our later years we shared a common result in physical wear, tear and damage to our bodies. Torn ligaments, nerves that spoke with intensity of years of abuse and an unending message of pain. So our desperate search for help often fails. Mine did until I found Dr. Ngo. His unexcelled training and medical skill has given me my life back. Thank you Dr. Ngo!

Everyone is courteous, professional and I feel truly cared for and that they are concerned if I am having a lot of pain! I have for many years, told my friends and family how much I appreciate that their clinic is there for me when I need to be seen!

I am almost 87 years old and a patient of Dr Ngo. If you are fortunate enough to ever reach this place in life you will find that some in the medical profession view treating you for your pain and illness as a hazard to their careers. You are, after all, ready to fall off the ladder of life. I am a disabled Vietnam veteran. I learned that facing danger demands a willingness to face the enemy. For us now, the enemy is that multitude of pain and disease lined up and ready to mow us down. For years now, Dr. Ngo and his entire staff have successfully treated me for my multitude of nerve and spinal pain. They have become family to me. If you are reading this and wish confirmation of your landing safely in that field filled with pain where you can receive expert and loving care, you have arrived! Dr. Ngo and his staff are at the top of their field in medicine. They are also leaders in caring for patients with kindness.

This practice has very competent and compassionate staff.
Dr. Ngo is wonderful, he truly cares about his patients, I drive an hour to get to Newington, I could easily drive the hour to Boston but prefer going to Dr. Ngo.
